Well Done Stance on Injustice, Police Brutality, and Racism

Diversity and Inclusion has been a goal of ours since we started developing a team to take our business to the next level. You may or may not be able to tell from the pictures, but our team makeup is extremely diverse from more than just a racial distinction which is something we’re proud of.

With the current police brutality and ultimate murder of George Floyd, we believe that recognizing diversity can serve as a conduit to the fear and understanding that police and the citizens of the community police serve have between one another. Our mission is to create ultimate experiences and memories through the culinary arts whether that’s through our cooking classes or our catering events. While this mission seems far removed from the racism, ignorant policing of the community, and the injustice following theses acts, we believe that the recent experiences of these acts will be what, unfortunately, serves as the catalyst for change and reform in America.

While our team may not always agree or have the same ultimate values as each other from a personal standpoint, what we do agree on is that racism, bad policing in communities of color, and the injustice that follows for the bad actors of violence against these communities should not and will not be tolerated.

To all the protestors, activists, those with a voice, and those developing their voice we stand with you! Now is the time to take action and get informed about elections at our local and state level which is where reform can actually occur and allow citizens to have a voice in police related violence and policies that occur in our city.

Houston we love you and stand with all of those in favor of anti-racism and appropriate policing of all communities, but especially communities of color.

Below are some resources to get informed and organizations to get engaged in the conversation to promote the public safety reform that is needed:
