Technique and Fundamentals Cooking Experiences

Our second type of public classes is our Fundamentals of Cooking and Baking classes. These classes are far more serious in nature and technicality, but still fun. These classes are for folks who want to learn the art of cooking and baking. We also offer a Culinary Certificate Program upon completion once you take all the classes in the Fundamentals series. We’ve been recognized by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation as a Quality Program. Participants in the program can utilize their certificate as a springboard into the culinary industry or as one of the main requirements to obtain the Certified Culinarian® (CC®). These classes are typically offered on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday mornings and afternoons. You will again work in groups of up to four persons and make everything on the menu.

If you’re looking to increase your knowledge and skills as a home chef or launching a career or business in the culinary industry our Technique and Fundamentals classes are for you!

Are you interested in culinary school, but don’t have the time or money? Have you been cooking for years and just want something new and exciting? Are you a novice interested in getting into the kitchen for the first time? Then the Fundamentals classes are the ones for you!

These classes are for those who are serious about learning how to cook. We offer 20 different courses to choose from throughout the year that can be taken in any order (except Knife Skills 2, which must be taken after Knife Skills 1). If you complete all 20, then you can qualify for our Certificate of Completion.

Well Done Cooking Classes is a recreational cooking school.  We do not accept school loans for purchasing our classes.  We are not accreditated by any Educational agency.  Our Certificate program is a Certificate of completion of a program.  It cannot be transferred to any other school or culinary program.

At this time children under the age of 12 are NOT allowed to participate in ANY of our classes. No exceptions. If you would like to enroll a teenager (12 – 18) in one of our classes, we do allow this if a parent or guardian is a registered participant. Teenagers may ONLY attend Baking classes, Cooking Fundamentals classes, and Saturday morning or afternoon classes. If you are unsure, please email reservations[at]welldonecc.com to see if your teenager may attend the class of your choice.

Well Done Cooking Classes’ kitchen has all of the latest appliances, cookware, and utensils, so there will be nothing necessary to bring. All we ask is that you wear closed toe shoes for your own safety, and comfortable, but not loose, clothing.   Well Done provides all of the necessary food items to conduct the class. You will be able to see and print recipes from within your account 48 hours prior to the scheduled class. It is not necessary to bring them unless you would like to take notes. Guests are welcome to bring to-go containers as there are often leftovers. Simply bring yourself and your willingness to have fun and learn. We have wine, beer, and sodas available for sale. We have bottled water free of charge, wine and beer glasses, corkscrews, ice, and aprons.

Well Done Cooking Classes will provide the best ingredients, digital recipes, and instruction. Some class materials will be available for purchase, like our wine glasses, cutting boards, or nifty aprons. There will always be plenty of food to eat, so come hungry and bring to-go containers. We have great wine and beer for sale from all over the world that is guaranteed to match the courses in your cooking class. Alternatively, all of our classes are BYOB and we do not charge a corking fee. We have bottled water available free of charge and also soft drinks for sale. Finally, we have bottle openers, corkscrews, and ice available for use as well.
