This class is part of our Culinary Certificate program.  It is open to everyone to attend.  If you would like more information about our Certificate program, please click here.

We'll taste several examples of the noble grapes and how climate/soil affects their flavor.  We'll also discuss how to figure out your favorite style of wine (are you a crisp a.k.a. dry wine kind of person or a fruit-forward a.k.a. sweet wine kind of person).  We will have a wine smelling kit set up to train your nose and a fun contest to test your skills (the winner gets a free $69 class).  Finally, we'll learn how to read a wine menu and order perfectly every time!

We'll pair at least 10 to 14 bottles of wine with outstanding cheeses from our neighbor at the Houston Dairymaids.  Also, a classic Tomato Basil Soup and blondie, milk, and dark chocolate brownies to get the best idea of how wine flavors change with food.
