Welcome to our freshly revamped Fundamentals Camp! This camp is thoughtfully designed to provide students with the foundational skills of cooking in a fun and friendly environment. Each day, young chefs will make and enjoy breakfast, lunch, and sometimes a sweet treat! Come and discover the joy of cooking with us this summer!
We will focus on 5 basic elements of cuisine, and tackle varied techniques for each one:
Proteins – marinating, roasting, braising, and more
Veggies – roasting, stewing, searing, and more
Eggs – scrambling, poaching, crepes, and more
Starches – risotto, pilaf, frying and more
Sauces – dressings, pan sauce, salsa and more
