Baking & Pastry – Techniques – Cakes and American Buttercream

In this class you will learn two methods for making cake and one method for buttercream. These recipes and techniques are essential ways of incorporating air into your mixture to leaven your product and increase the stability to improve texture. This method will serve as an important building block to becoming a proficient baker and one that can be used for a large variety of products. You will also learn some basic decorating skills to use as a foundation for future advancement in decorating cakes.
